Fear not for I am with you; Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
The word dismayed is defined as a sudden loss of courage, and disillusionment. As life wears us down, it is easy to be dismayed. However, God tells us because He is our God, we can lift our heads and gain courage.
At first blush, this sounds like pep talk of little value, but take time to remember who is speaking here.
The One who created heaven and earth. The One who has counted every hair on your head. The
One who defeated Satan. The One who knows and controls everything is on your side. The One who
controls Heaven’s Army is working for you, fighting for you. Walking right there with you, right
now, this moment!
Thank you Father for you are on our side and are utilizing all you have for our good
